PVF2 is a custom formulated fluorocarbon solar reflective paint system designed for ultimate colour and gloss retention. It provides lasting outdoor performance. This high-performance pre-painted steel will exceed the service life of any other coating systems. This PVF2 is a wet paint which is alternative to powdered paint but is not as environmentally friendly as Fluoropolymer powder coating system.
PVF2 spraying is available in a wide variety of colours, the coating enhances appearances. While PVDF has a lower core temperature, it also has a lower operating temperature (300°F) when compared to other fluoropolymers. Additionally, PVDF has a higher coefficient of friction.
PVDF is used in a vast variety of applications including aerospace, defence and industrial purposes, also has a long history in reusable medical devices/instruments which must withstand the rigours of daily handling due to its advantages described below.

Advantages of using PVF2 for site spraying:
- Improve the aesthetic appearance of your building
- Enhance and promote your corporate image
- Protective cladding coatings will increase the lifespan of your building
- These are chemical resistance i.e. highly resistant to acids and alkalis
- The material is resistant to UV radiation, making it useful for coating baskets that may be stored or used in outdoor areas.
- PVF2 has a tensile strength which makes it stronger compared to other fluoropolymers.
